A Red Cross lunch on Wednesday evening netted $13.00.

Sorry to report Mr. Everett Riodan suffering with an injured knee.

The new furnace recently installed in the Methodist Church is giving excellent satisfaction.

Arthur Jefferson was a delegate from the Torbrook Society to the N.S. Farmers’ Association at Antigonish.

Mrs. Annie Ward returned on Saturday from a few weeks’ stay at Lawrencetown, accompanied by her niece Miss Helen Durling.

Mr. A. LeMert Spinney started for Boston on Saturday last but was detained at Yarmouth on account of the United States Foreign Labor Regulations.
