Jan. 25th
Morris Chute of this place has gone to St. John for the Winter.
Our school opened on Jan. 19th, with Miss Helen Shaw of Port Wade teacher.
Mr. Dania Kearnes who has been in Lynn for the past year is home for a short time.
Mrs. Lizzie Messenger, who has been residing in St. John for a year and a half, paid a short visit to her old home quite lately.
A number of the people in this village packed a fine box of clothing and useful things for the Belgians and forwarded it over a week ago.
Mr. Frank Bezanson, of Centre Clarence and Miss Grace Thompkins, who is teaching school at Clarence, spent Sunday with friends in Hampton.
