Judge S.A. Chesley of Lunenburg, was in town for a few hours yesterday.
Capt. H. LeBlanc of Wedgeport, Yarmouth County, is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. A.A. Dechman.
Mrs. Minnie Kinney who has been visiting her children in Lethbridge, Alta., and Ottawa for some months returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. A J Welling of Moncton, N.B., are visiting Mr. Welling’s sister, Mrs. Elias Messenger, Granville St.
Miss Goldie Slaunwhite returned home on Monday after spending four weeks visiting her aunt Mrs. J E Bezanson of South Williamston.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kinney and little daughter of Lethbridge, Alta., are visiting Mr. Kinney’s sisters, Mrs. H.B. Hicks and Mrs. F.R. Fay and other relatives in town.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Smith of Calgary, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Piggott. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will spend the winter with Mr. Smith’s parents in Colchester Co.
Rev. J.F. Dustan, pastor of Gordon Memorial (Presbyterian) Church, underwent a surgical operation at the Infirmary in Halifax last Friday. Latest reports state that he is making a favorable recovery.
