Miss Maria Nicholl went to Lequille on Friday.
Steamer Bear River sailed for St. John on Thursday.
W.H. Smith of St. John, was in town on Wednesday.
Schooner “Catherine” arrived on Saturday from Boston.
Mr. Chas. Powers was in town on Wednesday on business.
Mr. George Tupper left Tuesday on a business trip through the Valley.
Mr. and Mrs. John Farquhar entertained the members of the Episcopal congregation on Thursday last.
The ordinance of Baptism was administered to four candidates by E.W. Dyer at the head of tide on Sunday last.
