Mrs. S. Blaney is visiting her daughter, Mrs. H. Adams at Deep Brook.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Edward Shaffner welcomed a little daughter to their home on the 8th inst.

The Ladies’ Aid Society meets at the home of Mrs. James Rice on Thursday afternoon the 14th.

Miss Alice Roblee went to Melville, Kings County, on Thursday to visit her sister, Mrs. Fred Whitman.

Mr. Reginald Young returned from Boston on Wednesday. He was accompanied by his brother Kenneth.

Mr. Howard Croscup was in Digby and Yarmouth Counties on a business trip the early part of last week bound from Annapolis.
