Miss Maud Thorne returned to her studies in Truro on Friday.

E.H. Porter has been elected a member of the National Geographic Society of Washington, U.S.A.

W.G. Shaffner returned on Wednesday from a very pleasant visit to children and friends in Boston and vicinity.

Owing to the funeral of the late Mrs. Snyder at Granville Ferry, there was no service in Christ’s Church on Sunday last.
